Select Tryouts for Academy (U9–U12)

If you’re looking for a club that is big enough to serve your family and your player’s interests while still remaining grounded enough to make you feel part of a soccer community, we’d love to have you out.
Our tryouts serve as part of an ongoing evaluation process for returning players and an introduction/evaluation for new participants. We hope, if this is your first experience with us, you will find it welcoming. We pride ourselves on having a uniquely diverse and family-centered environment. While our teams compete at the highest state, regional, and national levels, we hope to make each and every player/family feel like an important part of our growing soccer community.
Stones River Futbol Club serves almost 2,000 players and families each year in our many programs. With competitive programs and teams ranging from Division 3 and introductory levels to Division 1 and participation in regional and national leagues, we believe our club can be a great fit for players anywhere on the developmental pathway.
Players are required to register for tryouts in the PlayMetrics system. You will be required to create a new account if you are a new player.
Location: Rotary Soccer Park, 200 Soccer Way in Smyrna, TN
Check-in: 5:30–6:30pm
Start time: 6:30pm
Important Information:
Players are encouraged to attend each night of tryouts.
Players should Check-In BEFORE heading to their respective fields. (Players that attend multiple nights do not need to check in twice. They may report directly to the field on nights two and three.)
Players will receive a numbered t-shirt at check-in.
Players should bring their own water bottles (clearly labeled), soccer ball, and shin guards.
Parents are encouraged to attend and observe the tryouts from outside the fenced areas of the facility.
No Parents will be allowed on the fields and/or evaluation areas.
